Associate UI/UX Designer - Fresher (WFH)

About the job:

MBA Copilot is looking for a full-time contract UI/UX designer to help create the product design for our AI-powered MBA admissions platform from the ground up. MBA Copilot helps applicants build stronger MBA applications using AI. We guide candidates through school selection, profile strategy, essays, resumes, deadlines, and admissions planning. We are looking for someone who can understand the applicant journey, break down complex workflows, and turn rough product ideas into clear, usable Figma designs. The work will involve designing core product flows across onboarding, profile-building, school planning, essay support, resume improvement, deadline tracking, and AI-assisted guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create wireframes and Figma designs for core product flows
2. Design the user journey from onboarding to the first dashboard experience
3. Structure flows for profile-building, school selection, essays, resumes, and AI guidance
4. Turn rough product requirements into simple, usable screens
5. Improve the product's usability, clarity, and overall user experience
6. Study strong competitor products and use relevant patterns thoughtfully
7. Iterate quickly based on feedback from the founding team

10. 1. Strong portfolio, Figma file, Behance, Dribbble, wireframes, app flows, screenshots, or product design case study
11. 2. Good sense of layout, hierarchy, spacing, and usability
12. 3. Ability to simplify complex workflows into clear user flows
13. 4. Prior work on SaaS products, dashboards, EdTech, AI products, productivity tools, or mobile/web apps is a plus
14. 5. Comfortable working directly with a founding team and iterating quickly
