Key Responsibilities Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools. Analyze potential security threats and incidents, determining their scope and impact. Respond to security incidents, coordinating containment and eradication efforts. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under supervision. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. Perform security audits and compliance checks against relevant standards. Investigate security breaches and provide detailed incident reports. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation. Participate in security awareness training for employees. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, and operating systems. Familiarity with common security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS is a plus. Understanding of incident response methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work in a hybrid model, balancing remote and office-based responsibilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable. A proactive attitude towards learning and staying current in the cybersecurity landscape.
