What We Offer IT Construction Manager II - Healthcare Construction & Technical Solutions Individual contributor with comprehensive experience supporting healthcare facilities construction, design, and technical solutions that enhance business capability and delivery outcomes. Proven ability to lead design planning, requirements management, deployment planning, and change management within fast‑paced, highly collaborative environments.

Adept at adapting solutions to meet evolving capability owner expectations while applying Agile and Waterfall methodologies to drive quality, transparency, and continuous improvement. Experienced in sprint execution, impediment removal, activity tracking, and reporting , with a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and secure information system management throughout the system lifecycle.

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Location: North Carolina remote only (Live within 50 miles of Wilmington, NC preferred) Department: ETS - IT Service Excellence

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle activities including design planning, requirements gathering, deployment planning, and change management.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-collaboration environment to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of healthcare construction and/or technical systems to deliver scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Security & Compliance Responsibilities As a member of the IT team, you will:
  • Securely manage information systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Understand and document sensitive data stored, transmitted, or processed within assigned systems.
  • Enforce security principles such as least privilege and least functionality.
  • Identify and respond to potential cybersecurity incidents.
  • Participate in security incident response activities as required.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: High School or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum four years Project/Product Management, required. Minimum seven years overall IT experience, required. Minimum two years healthcare experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and/or ScrumMaster Certification (CSM) or equivalent, preferred.

  • Business analysis, product/project management, or product development.
  • Prior experience managing simple to complex projects and/or programs.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Ability to provide necessary support to the gathering and writing of accurate and complete requirements specifications
  • Acts as a catalyst to resolve project issues and conflicts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to interface with Infrastructure/Technical internal and external team members
  • Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
  • Focus on: Facilities-IT Construction and Design. (positions leading Construction/Design projects)
  • Knowledge of building design, project estimating, and construction concepts and processes. Ability to read, interpret and mockup architectural drawings and plans. Conduct meetings and walkthroughs on site with various stakeholders. Strong ability to produce and manage project budgets and control costs. Ability to process, track, report and monitor change orders effectively. Strong relationship management skills including the ability to work collaboratively with construction and design professionals, 3rd party vendors, business partners and other IT team members.
