Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Work with structured data to address business challenges using SQL, R, or Python.
- Identify patterns and trends to benefit HPBU and its stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights through visualizations using Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
- Collaborate with business units and data analysts under the guidance of the Senior Strategic Data Scientist.
- Clean and process large datasets on Boehringer's global platforms and create dashboards.
- Understand business requirements to create relevant visualizations and presentations.
- Learn advanced data analytics, statistics, and programming in Python or R.
- Develop a customer engagement data dictionary for business needs.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to query relational databases using SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- A solid understanding of statistics (A level or beyond).
- Experience in programming with Python or R.
- A quick learning ability.
- Preferred, but not essential: experience with Linux/POSIX, Streamlit, big data platforms, cloud computing, container environments, Tableau, or PowerBI.
