Lead Technical Supervisor – Storage & Preservation
Job Description:
- Implement safety practices and protocol at the site level
- Ensure safety procedures are followed, and the work site is safe for all employees, customers, subcontractors and the public
- Monitor project schedule, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met
- Manage costs that impact the bottom line; implement initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Responsible for accurate documentation for billing and providing support for efficient accounts receivable
- Inspect work during Pre-Installation to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Coach, mentor and develop internal and external technicians
- Communicate Vestas' vision in ways that gain the support of others
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in wind turbine installation or service
- Strong knowledge of Vestas turbine systems (required)
- Ability to work at heights
- Strong understanding of pre-installation, storage, and preservation processes
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
