LMS Content & Project Consultant

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

LMS CONTENT & PROJECT CONSULTANT

OVERVIEW

Generation Citizen (GC) is working to transform civics education so that young people are equipped and inspired to exercise their civic power. In the past 15 years, GC has built a community-based civics program for middle school and high school students with high-quality teacher professional development (PD), coaching, and curriculum that serves over 30,000 students per year nationally.

GC is currently building a new digital asynchronous platform to provide professional development and curriculum to social studies educators on our project-based civics curriculum. This involves porting our existing content to a new, more robust Learning Management System (LMS), and developing new educational resources and content, including short videos, lesson plans and supplemental documents and support. Our goal is to build an asynchronous program experience that can both stand on its own, with a few designed synchronous touch points, as well as an underlying resource that can support our existing virtual and in-person training and coaching. We will pilot this model in the spring of 2026.

We are seeking an experienced consultant to support the content development for the new platform, and design for the teacher experience.
