NHMG RN – Virtual
<div><h2>Overview</h2><p>The Registered Nurse - Virtual will function in a virtual setting and is part of a remote care team which collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, staff, and other health care professionals to provide the best care across the health care continuum. This role serves as an integral member of the health care team who works to ensure safety, best practice and high-quality standards of care are maintained across the continuum. Responsibilities include ambulatory patient triage, providing information pertaining to acute and chronic healthcare needs related to each call, guiding patients to the appropriate venue of care, collaborating with providers, receiving and relaying radiology and lab results, educating patients, responding to general health questions, assessing healthcare access using approved protocols, and promoting patient engagement to reduce the risk of inappropriate venue of care and hospitalization. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. 4-year/Bachelor degree preferred. If RN license has been inactive for five years or more and not licensed in another state within the last five years, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reinstating licensure. Reinstatement must be applied for within one year of completing the refresher course.</li><li><b>Experience:</b> Three years of clinical experience in physician practice/ambulatory or community setting. Knowledge of chronic disease management required.</li><li><b>Licensure/Certification:</b> Current RN license in the appropriate state is required.</li><li><b>Additional Skills:</b> Customer service, effective communication (verbal and non-verbal), interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and computer literacy. Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing.
