Remote 7 on 7 off Musculoskeletal Radiologist, 1-9pm EST

The Northwell Health Department of Radiology/Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell is seeking a board-certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide musculoskeletal imaging coverage from 1-9pm EST on a 7 day on 7 day off remote basis.
• Interpret musculoskeletal MR, CT, and radiographs, largely from the emergency and inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with the musculoskeletal imaging division that covers sites in Manhattan, Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk.
• Support academic activities and contribute to the division’s mission within an academic appointment (if applicable).

Qualifications

• MD degree with American Board of Radiology Certification.
• Dedicated fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging.

About the Division and Volume

The musculoskeletal division consists of 16 fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologists providing services at multiple tertiary and community hospitals and ten outpatient imaging facilities from Manhattan to the east end of Long Island. The division trains 70 radiology residents from three residency programs and two musculoskeletal imaging fellows. Annual interpretation volume includes greater than 50,000 MRI examinations, about 18,000 CT exams, 3,000 diagnostic ultrasound exams, and 3,000 image-guided procedures.
