Remote Healthcare IT Project Manager I ***As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active ENTER TYPE OF CLEARANCE or the ability to obtain this clearance *** A Remote Healthcare IT Workstream Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of workstreams within a large-scale EHR implementation. They manage key domains such as Technical, Clinical/Functional, or Site Deployment, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets. The role involves facilitating collaboration among technical teams, clinical stakeholders, site leadership, and senior management, and managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance. Compensation & Benefits:Estimated Salary Range for Remote Healthcare IT Project Manager I: $85,000 – $95,000Pay commensurate with experience. Remote Healthcare IT Project Manager I Responsibilities Include: <ul style="list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;"><li>Manage Healthcare IT data transformation projects involving clinical and patient data domains.</li><li>Provide structure, expectations, and coordination across subcontractors, technical teams, and stakeholders.</li><li>Support initiatives such as Clinical Data Repositories (CDRs), clinical data pipelines, imaging workflows, and healthcare analytics platforms.</li><li>Facilitate subcontractor and vendor meetings to drive execution and accountability.</li><li>Manage risks, dependencies, and readiness across multiple workstreams.</li><li>Maintain project documentation including schedules, RAID logs, status reporting, and executive updates.</li><li>Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.</li><li>Manage scope, schedule, and change control to maintain delivery alignment.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul> Remote Healthcare IT Project Manager I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: <ul style="list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 24px;"><li>Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.</li><li>Background in Healthcare IT (preferred 60–70% experience).</li><li>Experience supporting projects involving patient demographics, clinical data, or healthcare data platforms.</li><li>Exposure to healthcare imaging workflows (DICOM, radiology, CT/X-ray imaging programs) is a strong plus.</li><li>Proven experience managing technical teams delivering data transformation or integration initiatives.</li><li>Experience coordinating subcontractors and multi-vendor environments.</li><li>Strong risk management, dependency management, and governance skills.</li><li>Ability to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders.</li><li>Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance through the Government.</li></ul> Company Information:Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is a part of Cherokee Federal – the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
