Position Overview The Part-Time Legal Writer will play a critical role in the litigation process by drafting, editing, and refining key legal documents. This is not an entry-level writing role—you must understand personal injury litigation, strategy, and how to position a case effectively on paper.

If you can take complex case facts and turn them into clear, persuasive, litigation-ready documents, this role will fit you well.

  • Assist attorneys in developing case strategy through written analysis
  • Review and request (as needed) medical records and supporting documentation to incorporate into written work product
  • Ensure all documents are accurate, organized, and litigation-ready
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Personal Injury litigation (plaintiff-side strongly preferred)

  • Strong understanding of:
  • Liability analysis
  • Damages (medical, wage loss, pain & suffering)
  • Litigation workflow (pre-lit through trial prep)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines without supervision
What We’re Looking For
  • A clear, concise, and persuasive writer—no fluff, no filler
  • Someone who understands that writing drives case value
  • Detail-oriented and accountable—your work will directly impact outcomes
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and execute at a high level
Compensation
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience
  • Flexible scheduling-remote but must have some 9-5/Monday-Friday availability for communication purposes
  • Opportunity for long-term collaboration and increased workload
Why This Role Matters This position is not just about writing—it’s about influencing case outcomes.
