Boeing Customer Finance (BCF) is currently looking for a Supplier Financial Risk Management- Senior Managerto join their team in either Renton or Seattle, Washington; Chicago, Illinois; Costa Mesa, California or Mesa, Arizona.

Supplier Financial Risk Management (SFRM) is responsible for assessing risk within the Boeing supply chain and representing Boeing in in and out-of-court restructurings and workout cases involving financial distressed suppliers. The SFRM team is responsible for developing macro-level risk mitigation solutions to be utilized across broad sections of Boeing's supply chain. The SFRM team is also responsible for leading the development of strategies, advising and providing restructuring guidance in connection with in and out-of-court financially distressed supplier cases.

SFRM regularly interacts with senior management, ownership and other stakeholders of distressed suppliers and, in some cases, retained financial and legal professionals. SFRM is an enterprise resource and provides in-house advisory services across all major Boeing business units, international subsidiaries and joint-ventures.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs financial assessments of high-risk or financially distressed suppliers

  • Leads the development of restructuring strategies utilized by Boeing in its capacity as key customer and stakeholder of the distressed supplier

  • Lead SFRM "deal team" for each supplier case

  • Works directly with the Senior Manager, Director and other leadership on the day-to-day handling of the distressed supplier case

  • Participates in negotiations with suppliers, owners, creditors and other stakeholders to effectuate financial restructurings

  • Manages SFRM resources of "deal team" for each supplier case

  • Leads presentations to Boeing leadership

  • Develops internal process to manage financially distressed supplier cases

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Currently have a Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience with analysis of financial statements, financial or resource forecasts, and/or the assessment of associated risks and opportunities

  • 5+ years of experience working in corporate finance, international finance, commercial banking, investment banking and/or related fields

  • 5+ years of experience with workout/financially distressed suppliers' situations

  • Experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings

  • Experience interfacing and communication with business leadership, including C-Level executives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience developing thirteen-week cash flow forecasts and long-term financial projections

  • Strong desire to work as part of a team

  • Flexibility to work on multiple cases at the same time

  • Ability to operate in changing environment

  • Propensity toward action

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for CA; IL or WA: $154,700 - $209,300

Summary pay range for AZ: $144,500 - $195,500
