Develop and maintain a comprehensive software asset management plan. Work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with software licensing agreements. Streamline processes related to software procurement, deployment, and usage. Monitor software usage and make recommendations for cost savings. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date software inventory. Utilize asset management tools to effectively manage and track software licenses. Communicate with vendors and negotiate software licensing agreements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software asset management. Train and educate employees on software asset management processes and policies. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to software assets. Provide regular reports and analysis on software usage and costs. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize software usage and minimize costs.
